A unique territory
The Conegliano Valdobbiadene area stretches across a hilly terrain located 50 km from Venice and approximately 100 km from the Dolomites. Viticulture here has ancient origins, but the first written mention linking Prosecco to this territory dates back to 1772. Since the introduction of the DOC in 1969, the historical production area has remained confined to 15 municipalities. Two of these give it its name: Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, one being the cultural capital and the other the productive heart.
The quality of our Prosecco DOCG vineyards is enhanced by the presence of numerous old and sometimes very old vines. The old vine of our product can be defined as 'the memory of the territory.' Thanks to its significant root system, it can effectively balance the diverse climatic trends typical of the hills of Valdobbiadene, thus ensuring a high level of quality consistency under varying climatic conditions.
