The king of Piedmontese vines in its original form, Nebbiolo d'Alba is a classic that belongs in every cellar of a true connoisseur.The origins of Nebbiolo d'Alba date back to ancient times when Nebbiolo grapes were first cultivated in the Piedmont region. Over the centuries, this variety has gained great prestige and has helped make Piedmont one of the most celebrated wine regions in the world. Nebbiolo d'Alba is a red wine produced in the Piedmont region of Italy. Its origins are closely tied to the Nebbiolo grape variety, which is the main grape used in its production. Nebbiolo d'Alba has its roots in the Langhe area, particularly in the city of Alba, located in the province of Cuneo. This region is renowned for being the birthplace of some of Italy's most famous wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco, both produced from Nebbiolo grapes.

 

Ruby red colour with garnet reflections, fruity and floral bouquet that is captivatingly complex and spicy. Dry palate with well-balanced tannins and good persistence in the mouth, makes this wonderful wine a perfect pair for rich first and second courses.
