The estate Founded around the San Jacopo’s chapel by the architect Domenico Soldani Benzi in 1737, the estate covers 140 hectares, of which 40 are vineyards, 20 are olive groves and the rest are woods at an altitude of 300 meters and is positioned on the west side of the Chianti mountains in the Valdarno di Sopra.

The vineyards extend for about 40 hectares on medium-textured soils with a prevalence of sand and silt that derive from the sandstone rocks of the Chianti boulder. Among the cultivated varieties there are Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Montepulciano, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Trebbiano and Malvasia di Montegonzi. The conversion to organic took place in 2003,
