Limunì, Limoncello del Sud is obtained from the alcoholic infusion of untreated lemon peel, ripened under the hot sun of Calabria. The lemons, coming from farms located near the Caffo Distillery, are processed on the same day as the harvest. To obtain the Limunì infusion, only the most aromatic part of the fruit is used, i.e. the yellow part of the rind (epicarp) infused in neutral alcohol.
It is perfect to be enjoyed cold at the end of a meal, due to its digestive characteristics, but it is also ideal for creating delicious sorbets, or simply to be combined with fruit ice cream or lemon creams.
