Production area: Municipality of Monforte d’Alba, particularly
in the single cru called Tita
400/450 masl
Grapes: Nebbiolo 100%
Grape harvest: First decade of October
Refinement: The process lasts 36 months: thirty months
into 10 hl Slavonian oak barrels, one month
in stainless steel tanks and fi ve months in the
bottle for proper development of the product
Wine colour: Deep garnet
Description of wine: Intense and elegant wine with great
concentration. The nose explodes with
ethereal and enveloping balsamic sensations,
the rhubarb then it turns into spices:
cinnamon and green pepper notes, white
truffl e and vanilla. The mouth is opulent,
and rightly austere, with a great aftertaste
and a silky tannins
Alcohol Grade: From 14% to 15% vol. depending on the year
To match with: Great meat dishes, spicy and savoury courses,
cheese and is an ideal accompaniment
to game dishes
Serving Temperature 16-18 C
